this post contains affiliate links, these links pose no extra cost to you if you use them but they are how I receive my income.

Wow my first full month blogging! It sure has been a learning curve, and there’s still alot to learn but here’s my Blog report for July 2017 & what I’ve learnt from my blog so far:

Page views: 450
Income: $0
Expenditures: $86.78
Pinterest followers: 1
Facebook likers: 0
Instagram followers: 16
Twitter followers: 3
New Email list subscribers: 0

The reason my blog hasn’t made any money yet is because I didn’t have any affiliate links set up and I haven’t been approved for advertising yet as my blog doesn’t have enough content. Also as you can see my views are still very low and that’s something I plan on working on in August.

Top 3 Posts:

Natural oven cleaner
Vanilla & Cinnamon protein balls
Homemade Lavender & Rosemary soap

New tools/sites/programs i’ve used:

  • Site ground
Site ground is my web host, so far I’ve found them super easy to deal with and their tech support has been fantastic for response times and helpfulness.
  • Board booster
Board booster is what I use for my pinterest activity, it schedules pins for me so I can set up what I want pinned and how many pins I want posted each day, it spreads this across the time frame I choose to help reach more viewers.
  • Clicky
I use clicky for my page views, currently I’m only using their free plan as I’m not getting enough views to invest in higher analytics but it still gives you great options like seeing repeat viewers, pageviews for individual pages and a realtime view of what online viewers are doing while on my site
  • Canva
I’ve only used this a few times, It has some great free to use images and fonts if you don’t have an image you want to use, you can also download your own photos or pay for their premium content, I mainly use it for pinterest photos.
  • Photofiltre
I’ve used this program for a long time for basic photo editing but it has some great extras like adding text to images gradient fill options, smoothing out blemishes or photo imperfections, this is the main program I use for my images at the moment, the only downside is the text seems to go a little blurry once you upload it on the internet (If anyone knows how to fix this issue, help a girl out?) but other than that its been great and the best bit is? It’s completely free!
